Tonga consists of 4 main island groups, with the Vava'u Group lying to the north. The island group is ideal for whale watching and swimming, with sheltered waters between the islands. The soft corals, the crinoids, the underwater caves, the walls, overhangs, gorgonian fans and diverse fish life and the unbelievably blue waters all add up to a diving destination that is second to none.
OUR LOCATION
Our base is located right on the waterfront in the centre of Neiafu town, next to the Puataukanave International Hotel and the small boat marina.
GETTING TO VAVA'U
Regular flights rrive to the capital of Nuku'alofa from Auckland, Sydney, Brisbane, LA and Fiji. Check details with Air New Zealand, Pacific Blue and Air Fiji.
Vava'u is then a short one-hour flight with our domestic carrier, Chathams Pacific (www.chathamspacific.com), with regular flights running daily except Sundays.
